I’m not even going to say anything about this one…I actually work out here and enjoy the gym, but couldn’t believe this and actually thought it was hilarious. I guess if you eat lots of pizza you need to workout more…Thoughts anyone?

I used to be a manager at Pizza Hut. I was shocked at how many calories some of the pizza that we served had, and how unhealthy it was. Pizza Hut, at one time, had a branding of pizzas called the “Fit n’ Delicious” but they were discontinued after 9 months due to the general lack of sales: customers simply wanted the far less healthy pizzas. If my memory serves me correctly, a slice of Ham, pineapple, and tomato fit n’ d pizza had 160 calories, 1.5g of saturated fat and 560mg of sodium. As a reference point, an apple has approx. 60-90 calories and only trace amounts of fat and sodium. In stark contrast, a medium pan meat lover’s slice has 330 calories, 7 grams of saturated fat, and 820mg of Sodium. The only kinds of people that I could see actual needing the kind of nutrition a meat lover’s pizza offers are arctic fishermen and wilderness experts like park rangers or hunters. I bet that is a tough niche market for Pizza Hut to deliver to when these people are stranded miles from civilization in the tundra, arctic snow forests or on the north Atlantic sea.

Pizza Hut should give you a pizza if you can prove you ran from your house to the store to get it. …and you have to run home before you eat it. I guess the Rush and Pizza Hut is a symbiotic relationship
