Before you watch this make sure you read last weeks article on The Sugar Challenge. Last week we talked about watching the sugars in your food, so in this video I actually take you into the store so you can see the actual sugar content in the food you eat! You might be surprised. Yes, even foods considered “healthy” are loaded with added sugars.
I must admit I did make one tiny mistake in the video. I was talking about snickers and said you upper limit is 100 grams per day, and 100 is actually supposed to be calories NOT grams. So a snickers actually gives you MORE than your daily sugar allotment with around 30 grams (when it should be 25 grams for women and 37 grams from men).
So oops! Anyhow, I encourage you to start reading those labels. See how many grams of sugar are in your foods and see where that sugar is coming from! If you do you’ll be on your way to a healthier, foxier you much faster than you can ever imagine.
